For Australian psychologists in private practice

Your reports and letters, drafted from the whole client record.

Wenara reads the notes, scores and check-ins you already have, then drafts the GP progress report, the assessment report and tomorrow's session brief. You edit and sign. Nothing reaches a client or a GP without you.

Built in Australia for psychologists · Records stored in Sydney · You approve every draft

How it works

One loop, from the brief to the letter and back

You set the course in the session. Wenara carries the preparation, the paperwork and the plan around it. Pick a step to see who does what.

The brief is waiting

Wenara
Reads the check-ins, scores, notes and homework since you last met, and writes the brief the day before. A first appointment gets an intake summary instead.

The agents

What Wenara does while you are with clients

Four jobs an agent does across a client's week. Every one of them ends at your approval.

Why Wenara

The hour in the room is the easy part

A psychologist sees a handful of clients a day and writes far more than a GP does. The progress report means rereading every note since the last referral. The next session starts from memory. Wenara takes that work off your evenings and leaves the clinical judgement with you.

Reports eat your evenings

A GP progress report means going back through every session since the last referral. Wenara pulls the relevant notes, scores and check-ins into a draft, and leaves blanks where the record has nothing.

Prep happens from memory

The day before each session, the brief is waiting: score trends, check-in themes, whether the homework got done, and what to pick up. A first appointment gets an intake summary instead.

AI that files itself is a liability

Drafts wait in a review queue. You approve, edit or reject each one. You stay fully accountable for the record, and the software is built to keep it that way.

Features

Built around the work psychologists actually owe

Start with reports, letters and notes. Add the between-session loop when you are ready. Same record, no second tool, and every draft waits for your sign-off.

Report and letter drafting

GP progress reports, comprehensive assessment reports and NDIS reviews, drafted from the client's notes, scores and history. Review, edit, sign.

Pre-session brief

Generated the day before. Outcome measure trends calculated from the actual scores, check-in themes in the client's own words, homework status, and suggested focus.

Agent inbox

Drafts and tasks from Wenara's agents land in one place. Approving records the decision, and approving is the only way anything reaches a client.

Session scribe

Live transcription drafted into a structured note in your template. Consent is asked aloud at the start of every session, and audio is not stored.

Between-session plan

After the session you approve a week plan. Check-ins, exercises and questionnaires reach the client's phone, and the results feed your next brief.

Better Access tracking

Session counter and GP letter drafts sit next to the note, so the review at session six is never a scramble.

Trust

Built privacy-first, for clinicians who carry the duty of care

Your clients trust you with the most sensitive information they have. Wenara is built so that trust never rests on an unsupervised AI.

You sign everything

Every note, letter, report and plan is a draft until you approve it. The duty of care stays with you, and so does the final word.

Consent at every session

Asked aloud at the start of each session, on top of your client's standing consent, with versioned wording and an audit trail.

Built in Australia

Records are stored in Sydney, each practice's data is kept separate, and session audio is transcribed in Australia and never stored.

No training on client data

Your clients' information is never used to train AI models, by us or by our AI provider.

FAQ

Questions psychologists ask

What does the AI read?+

Only the client's own record in Wenara: session notes, outcome measure scores (PHQ-9, GAD-7, K10, DASS-21, PCL-5 and others), check-ins, the plan and homework status, referral details and documents you have filed. It does not browse the web, and each draft is built from one client's record.

Can it get a score wrong?+

Scores, score trends and session counts are calculated by ordinary code, and they overwrite anything the AI writes. The AI writes the prose around the numbers, so it cannot invent a PHQ-9 score.

What stays with me?+

Diagnosis, risk judgements and treatment decisions. Wenara drafts and summarises what the record shows. It does not diagnose, rate risk, or recommend treatment or medication. Safety flags are rule-based and support your judgement rather than replace it.

Does anything go out without my approval?+

No. Every note, letter, report and plan is a draft until you approve it, and approving is the only way anything reaches a client or a GP. What clients write is treated as untrusted text, so it cannot give the AI instructions.

How do consent and audit work?+

Consent is asked aloud at the start of every session, on top of the client's standing consent. The wording is versioned, so each consent points to the exact words the client saw. Every AI generation and every approval is written to an append-only audit log.

Is my clients' data used to train AI models?+

No. We do not use your clients' data to train models, and our AI provider's commercial API terms do not permit training on it.

What does the client see?+

A calm app with the week you assigned: check-ins, exercises, questionnaires and a safety plan with Australian helplines. It is not a booking portal.

Do I still need Cliniko or Halaxy?+

Keep it for your calendar and billing. Wenara sits alongside it for reports, letters, notes, pre-session briefs and Better Access tracking. Appointments carry your Zoom or Meet link, and starting a session opens the call and the scribe side by side.
